(Chanting) Feature not a bug, feature not a bug, feature not a bug!!

Ahem. So I did notice back in chapter 64, of which there is a flashback in this chapter, that Jiro was apparently burying the skulls of children. Which based on my understanding of Vru's skill at the time, didn't make sense - if Life Movie advances time, how was it possible for a child's bones to remain? Shouldn't any kids have been forced to grow up, and the remaining bones all belong to withered elderly? Unless there was some way the skill accounted for a person's projected life expectancy which would be wack, I found it really strange but wrote it off as manga shenanigans. So it's just really nice to see it addressed here as intentional, even if all it does is add to more shenanigans (people's bodies can just reject skills? Doesn't make much sense man). This chapter did explain it was possible for "Life Movie" to just skip aging and kill the target directly, though. And yay, finally got the explanation for Acro's mysterious survivorship. Although again it is kinda wack.

Anyway, we're so close to the end but I still be eating good with these skill power-ups and combo moves. This is the equivalent of giant mecha anime where all the parts combine into a big mech. Or something. I haven't actually seen any such anime lol. Getting to see characters exercise the limits of a system is my fave part of shounen media.
