Oh man. This raises so many more questions than it answers. I do kinda love how vague and ominous everything is though - Vru is clearly not quite as anyone seems, and all we've had are unreliable viewpoints of him so far. Acro's possibly blinded by his faith, Subaru's views are poisoned by his childhood, and now this Jiro guy clearly has some kind of pre-constructed image of Vru built on top of unconscious bias and self-interest. What exactly is your deal, Vru???
And that Marimo mention... remember that from Vru's letters to Subaru? Nice callback hehe.
