Trying to break down the work a bit more granular-ly seems to be helping with my work ethic. Chapter 39 is already in the works :)

Volume 5, start! The first chapter of each volume is always such a big job because of all the preface content, but here we are! Excited to get things moving again :)
I mentioned previously that I don't have any more of the other-language scans of this title to cross-ref my translations here, which was already having an impact on the amount of blind guessing I was doing for some of the lines in this chapter. But then I remembered hearing about this really good online translator called DeepL, which doesn't have unlimited free use like google translate, but boy has it been a huge help! The stuff it spits out is much clearer and more coherent than what I get out of GT, so now that I'm looping that translator into my process, it should be much less of a pain to translate, which I'm definitely looking forward too :D As a bonus, I should easily be able to get around the usage limits by simply uploading my transcription (that I have to do anyway) as one document and having the entire thing translated in one go. Hooray for technology!
A'ight, that paragraph was about ten lines longer than I expected to ramble for, so I'll leave Artist Acro Chapter 37 here and be off!

Whoop, finished the Omake (bonus) manga content for volume 4! Can hardly believe I've done 3 whole volumes already, since this project gets way less of my time than it used to when I first started. Still really want to see this to the end though; I'd hate to leave it unfinished since the whole reason I started doing all this is to finish scans that I got curious about! So I'm real glad I've made it this far despite the brain no longer needing to be dumped regularly.
Another thing now that volume 4 is done - I'd been cross-referencing my JP translation with raws in another language that I can sorta read, but that source only has this title up to volume 4 so... after this I'll be flying blind with just the JP to go off of. That'll be fun! :'D I'll certainly be taking wilder guesses as to what the raw is trying to say, which will either make it more or less understandable depending on how much of a coherent story I can glean/invent to fill in the gaps :'DD It's times like these I wish I was actually fluent or had someone fluent to translate for me. Hopefully I won't need to do too much retconning...
Aside from that, I've pulled a few chaps of volume 5 already and it's looking pretty exciting! Should be getting more answers to the multitude of questions that got raised in this last volume. Also hoping the sneak peek will give me more motivation to work on this ^_^
That's all the rambling for now! Take a look at the Artist Acro Vol. 4 Omake if you'd like, and I'll see you next time with Volume 5!

AA chapter 36 finished!
Last chap of vol 4! Omake will be done separately as usual.
Look forward to volume 5! ^_^

Yay, got Chapter 35 done! I knew I could do it.
For whatever reason Blogger was uploading all my images in the reverse numbering order for no discernible reason, much to my frustration, so I had to manually reorder them and the editor is... not good at doing that. So hopefully when I review the page later I'll find anything I might have messed up, but if any of the other formatting is wonky, that's why.
Other than that, just the usual translating woes of phrasing sentences really awkwardly and struggling with super-thin bubbles. I'm also committing to giving up on some of the SFX that I just have absolutely no clue how to localize - there really wasn't any reason to give every dang motion an sfx, Sakurai-sensei!! Shouldn't degrade the reading experience too too much though (I hope).
Hope it's a fun one!
